Who we are 大家是谁

The human body has different systems that assist to function properly.

人体不同的系统让彼此更好地运转。

We use our eyes to observe pictures we are interested in. It looks like a duck and a rabbit. So confused!

大家用眼睛去观察感兴趣的图片。这个动物既像鸭子又像只兔子。太奇怪了!

大家用舌头去尝不同的食物。好酸啊!这是什么啊?原来是只柠檬!

Central Idea: Having a deeper understanding of ourselves allows us to develop a greater understanding of the world around us.

中心思想:对于自己的深入认识可以让大家对身边的世界有更好的认知。

你知道人类有哪八种多元智能吗?它们藏在你的身体各个角落,让大家一起来瞧瞧,它们都帮助大家发展了哪些技能吧!

Do know how many multiple intelligences we have? They hide everywhere in our body. Let‘s explore together!

有了对"多元智能"的初步了解,大家小组成员在课堂上一起做了概念配对的游戏,为每个多元智能找到了自己的定义小伙伴。大家还根据自己的理解,用自己简单的语言一一说明了这些多元智能呢!

Based on the preliminary understanding of Multiple Intelligences, we do the sorting out games about the multiple intelligences definitions. And we also give each intelligence a brief definition with our own simple words.

既然大家每个人都有多元智能,那么我自己的多元智能是如何发展的呢?这一天,老师给了大家每个人一本Who We Are Journal,从今天开始大家要更深入地思考、分析大家自己了。多元智能是什么?我是谁?我的优势和弱点各是什么?我的目标是什么?在这本完全自制的小书中你都能找到。多亏了它,我更了解我自己了!

Everyone has multiple intelligences, then how can you improve them? We are given an A3 sketchbook and make a ‘Who We Are‘ journal.  When we record every day, we have a deeper understanding of who we are, what are our advantages and disadvantages. We know ourselves better !

如果你以为这个单元大家只是探索自己的多元智能,那你就错啦!通过探索自己的多元智能,大家发现每个人都有不止一个优势智能,那么那些红极一时的著名人物又有哪些优势智能呢?大家把他们放在了分类大海报上,如果你也感兴趣,就来大家的教室UOI墙看看吧!

We also do the research on famous people. We learn the stories about them and think about what their intelligences are. The researches are on our UOI wall, come and have a look at them!

 

多元智能的探索绝对不仅仅局限在教室中。926日,大家在老师的陪伴下来到了上海体育馆的攀岩中心,在挑战自我的过程中发掘了自己的运动潜能!别看大家才三年级,大家的kinesthetic intelligence可是不容小觑的哦!

 

Exploring our intelligences is not only in the class, but also outside. We went to a field trip in Shanghai Indoor Stadium to experience rock climbing, it was so cool to find out our kinesthetic intelligence when we tried our best to reach the top!

2. 结合第一个质疑主题"价值"单元,PYP四年级学生在华师大应用心理专业导师的活动中学习体验"生命的价值"。

过程:1不同呼吸的体验(自然、深度、游泳、哭泣)(孩子们扩展)。

2远古的生命(海洋生物)-动作探索。

3重新出生(动作发展角度体验从生命之初开始身体的成长和能力的发展)。

3.语文学科: 下图为孩子们结合"生命的 价值"主题使用表达性艺术,根据刚学过的课文《爬山虎的脚》创作的名为"爬山虎生命历程"的作品。

Central Idea: Past culture shape present day systems and technologies.

中心思想:过去的文明奠定了现今的制度和科技。

1. Guess what‘s in the box. 猜猜盒子里是什么?

   

2. Mini performances about ancient China. 关于古代中国的微型表演

 

3. "expert" groups presented their research to the class. Students took notes of the presentations and enjoyed the activities organized by the "experts".

学生"专家"组面向全班展示他们的调查,学生听众乐享"专家"们组织的活动并且进行学习记录。

 

4. Field trip to Qibao Town and explore the the Chinese traditional culture in Qinhan Hutong.

在"秦汉胡同"体验中国传统学问,去七宝老街寻找千年古镇的历史。
